"And I don't absolve myself; indeed the soul is a persistent enjoiner of evil, except those upon whom my Lord has bestowed Mercy; indeed my Lord is the Forgiving, the Merciful".
So, the king called together Zuleika and the women and questioned them upon Yoosuf's demand. Zuleika admitted her offense and declared that she didn't cheat her husband even though she intended for it.
The human soul has three states: (1) The evil inducible state of soul as told in this verse.
(2) Self-analyzing state of soul (conscience) as told in verse 75: 2. Lord has taught each soul Adhikr which contains the Straightpath and crooked paths from the Paradise itself as explained in verses 91: 7-10. It is told in verses 75: 14-15: "Nay, man is having a clear insight about himself even though he may present any excuse".
(3) The soul attaining peace and tranquility (successful soul). Those who attained this state with Adhikr will only return to Paradise as told in verses 89: 27-30. It is asked through verse 13: 28: "Don't you get peace and tranquility with Adhikr?"
Since Adhikr (the Food, Cloth, and Sight of the human soul) is formed as the Book, whoever transforms his Jinn soulmate into a believer and keeps Lord in his heart with It, will only return into Paradise as explained in verse 7: 26. See explanation 3; 101-102; 9: 26, 124 and 11: 118-119.
